Nội dung cơ bản

Hòa chung không khí của Ngày Chuyển đổi số Quốc gia đầu tiên 10/10/2022, Tập đoàn Giáo dục EQuest phối hợp cùng Dự án EduPortal Việt Nam, Trung tâm Trẻ em và Phát triển (CCD) đã tổ chức Hội thảo “Mô hình chuyển đổi số trong hệ thống giáo dục phổ thông – Bài học kinh nghiệm từ Mỹ” vào ngày 15/10/2022, nhằm tạo ra diễn đàn thảo luận về vấn đề chuyển đổi số ở hệ thống giáo dục phổ thông, góp phần đẩy mạnh công cuộc chuyển đổi số trong giáo dục. Hội thảo đã thu hút hơn 250 khách mời tham dự cả trực tiếp và trực tuyến.

Bối cảnh chuyển đổi số

Trong hơn 2 thập kỷ qua, giáo dục phổ thông Mỹ, gồm các cơ sở công và tư, đã và vẫn đang có rất nhiều nỗ lực chủ động và quyết liệt để nâng cao năng lực lãnh đạo, năng lực học tập và năng lực tài nguyên để vượt qua rất nhiều những thách thức trong quá trình chuyển đổi số và góp phần đưa nền giáo dục phổ thông Mỹ lên những bước tiến đột phá mà mục tiêu cao nhất là mang lại những cơ hội học tập công bằng, an toàn, chất lượng, bao trùm cho tất cả học sinh. Theo TS. Nguyễn Thị Kiều Vân – Chuyên viên Phân tích chương trình bậc Mẫu giáo và Phổ thông Mỹ chia sẻ: Nói về nước Mỹ, hầu hết chúng ta sẽ nghĩ về một đất nước có nền giáo dục hết sức tiên tiến. Tuy nhiên, giáo dục phổ thông Mỹ chưa thực sự thành công khi đi qua công cuộc chuyển đổi số. Họ đã bắt đầu một cách mạnh mẽ, sớm hơn chúng ta khoảng 23 năm, và trong quá trình chuyển đổi số đó, họ gặp rất nhiều thách thức. Tại Hội thảo “Mô hình chuyển đổi số trong hệ thống giáo dục phổ thông – Bài học kinh nghiệm từ Mỹ”, ba chuyên gia đã đưa ra gợi ý cho những thực hành và chính sách thiết thực liên quan gắn liền với công tác quản lý và giảng dạy số ở các trường phổ thông Mỹ và cả Việt Nam nhằm giúp các nhà quản lý giáo dục Việt Nam có và nhận thức sâu sắc hơn về những điều họ có thể và cần làm để nâng cao năng lực số giúp các nỗ lực chuyển đổi số được sâu sắc và hiệu quả hơn.

Chuyển đổi số chỉ thành công khi các cơ sở chủ động nâng cao năng lực nội tại

Cụ thể, theo TS. Nguyễn Thị Kiều Vân cho biết: Chuyển đổi số giáo dục ở Mỹ được hiểu là một quá trình kết hợp giải pháp kỹ thuật số, sức mạnh của dữ liệu, truyền thông và kết nối trong nâng cao hiệu quả của các hoạt động không phải chỉ là giảng dạy, mà còn trong quản lý, đào tạo, đánh giá. Chuyển đổi số chỉ thành công khi góp phần mang lại những cơ hội học tập công bằng, an toàn, chất lượng, bao trùm cho tất cả học sinh.

Nguyễn Thị Kiều Vân cho biết: Chuyển đổi số giáo dục ở Mỹ được hiểu là một quá trình kết hợp giải pháp kỹ thuật số, sức mạnh của dữ liệu, truyền thông và kết nối trong nâng cao hiệu quả của các hoạt động không phải chỉ là giảng dạy, mà còn trong quản lý, đào tạo, đánh giá. Chuyển đổi số chỉ thành công khi góp phần mang lại những cơ hội học tập công bằng, an toàn, chất lượng, bao trùm cho tất cả học sinh.

Và để nâng cao năng lực và giải quyết những thách thức trong bối cảnh chuyển đổi số các trường phổ thông tại Mỹ luôn đảm bảo các nỗ lực sau:

● Thứ nhất, xác định rõ và cố gắng thu hút các đối tượng liên quan cùng tham gia vào quá trình chuyển đổi số: “Họ không chỉ là những người trong ngành Giáo dục [lãnh đạo trường, giáo viên và học sinh], mà còn là gia đình học sinh, nhà cung cấp dịch vụ, các tổ chức xã hội… Động viên mỗi người là một vị lãnh đạo của chính bản thân mình với những người xung quanh”. 

● Thứ hai, đảo đảm công cụ để nhân viên thực hiện chuyển đổi số để mỗi thành viên hoàn thành công việc chuyên môn và hỗ trợ phối hợp trong công việc hiệu quả. Đó là hạ tầng cơ sở vật chất, hạ tầng công nghệ (các giải pháp phần cứng, phần mềm các chương trình phần mềm). 

● Thứ ba, phát triển chuyên môn và nghề nghiệp cho đội ngũ lãnh đạo và nhân viên bằng việc sử dụng hiệu quả các khóa đào tạo E-Learning. 

● Thứ tư, triển khai các hoạt động học kết hợp (Blended learning) tại trường học và các lựa chọn là các khoá học online cho các nhu cầu bù tín chỉ hay nâng cao phối hợp với các trường nghề, trường cao đẳng/đại học… 

● Thứ năm, phát triển các hệ thống đánh giá trình độ và sự tiến bộ học sinh bằng các bài đánh giá thời điểm để đưa ra những hỗ trợ kịp thời, bên cạnh các bài đánh giá phổ biến (đánh giá quá trình và đánh giá kết quả).

Cùng nhiều nỗ lực khác đến từ sự chủ động và quyết tâm của các cơ sở giáo dục địa phương như thu thập, phân tích nguồn dữ liệu quý giá mà chuyển đổi số mang lại để đưa ra những chương trình hỗ trợ có thể đáp ứng được nhu cầu của tất cả các em học sinh và việc xây dựng môi trường làm việc số (bao gồm cơ chế, chính sách, quy định cho từng đối tượng trong những vai trò khác nhau từ sự chủ động và quyết tâm của các cơ sở giáo dục địa phương.

Ngoài ra, khi được hỏi về việc dạy học kết hợp ở các trường công ở Việt Nam, TS. Nguyễn Thị Kiều Vân, nhấn mạnh: “Một trường công hoàn toàn có thể xây dựng một chương trình học tập kết hợp với điều kiện và năng lực như hiện tại, chỉ khi lãnh đạo nhà trường và giáo viên nghiên cứu, được đào tạo và thật tự tin về kiến thức về học tập online, học tập kết hợp thì những khó khăn ở trường công đều có cách giải quyết. Hiện tại ở Mỹ không phải lớp học nào cũng trang bị đầy đủ iPad, máy tính cho học sinh. Do đó, giáo viên Việt Nam cũng đừng quá áp lực với việc chuyển đổi số. Nếu giáo viên có kinh nghiệm, tự tin vào kiến thức, phương pháp của mình, chúng ta có thể sử dụng máy tính của nhà trường để sử dụng cho những hoạt động học tập online”.

Giáo dục học sinh là trách nhiệm chung của gia đình, nhà trường và xã hội

TS. Lisa Helton – Hiệu trưởng Trường Quốc tế Mỹ trực tuyến Ivy Global School Khu vực Bắc Mỹ chia sẻ, giáo dục học sinh là trách nhiệm chung của gia đình, nhà trường và xã hội. Đồng thời TS. Lisa Helton cũng nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của việc thực hiện nghiên cứu định tính một cách đúng đắn để mang lại cho Ivy Global School một lợi thế trong việc chuyển đổi kỹ thuật số.

Hiện, Ivy Global School đang thực hiện mô hình giáo dục trực tiếp kết hợp trực tuyến. Sau khi đã nghiên cứu thực tế và phỏng vấn nhiều bên liên quan, TS. Lisa Helton cho rằng, công cuộc chuyển đổi số ở Việt Nam còn nhiều vướng mắc, giáo viên, phụ huynh cũng đang lo lắng chất lượng giảng dạy không được đáp ứng tiêu chuẩn, hoặc là vấn đề chương trình học thay đổi có được thẩm định hay không? Họ cũng rất lo lắng về tương lai của trẻ, về sự cân bằng giữa học tập trực tuyến với trực tiếp. Cũng như có nhiều yêu cầu khác nhau về tương tác với giáo viên, về tương lai của các con… Những điều này Ivy Global School đã và đang tiếp tục cùng phụ huynh đồng hành đưa ra các giải pháp. 

Một trong các bài đánh giá rất quan trọng mà các cơ quan quản lý giáo dục ở Mỹ thực hiện là đo đếm kết quả học sinh tại một thời điểm nào đó và áp dụng phương pháp bài kiểm tra ứng dụng cá nhân hóa từng học sinh, nếu học sinh trả lời đúng thì phần tiếp theo sẽ nâng độ khó lên, Ivy Global School mới đây cũng đã thực hiện phương pháp này. Nhà trường kiểm tra kỹ năng Đọc và Toán của học sinh theo đúng khung chuẩn của Bộ Giáo dục Mỹ, kết quả có 75% học sinh có sự tiến bộ, hơn 10% trong bài kiểm tra Toán và Đọc, 8% học sinh tăng điểm môn Toán, 23% tăng điểm môn Đọc…

Alpha School, Việt Nam – đơn vị chuyển đổi số hiệu quả nhờ sự đồng thuận, quyết liệt của ban lãnh đạo và đội ngũ cán bộ công nhân viên

Tại Hội thảo, TS. Trần Thị Thanh Thủy – Giám đốc Đào tạo phụ trách Khối Phổ thông, Tập đoàn Giáo dục EQuest đã chia sẻ ví dụ cụ thể về Alpha School – một trong những thành viên của EQuest, ngôi trường chuyển đổi số rất hiệu quả trong giai đoạn dịch Covid-19.

Cụ thể, TS. Trần Thị Thanh Thủy cho hay: Để Alpha School chuyển đổi số hiệu quả, yếu tố đầu tiên là thay đổi quan điểm tiếp cận về quá trình dạy học. Công cụ thực hiện chuyển đổi số cho phép học sinh học tập ở tất cả thời điểm, địa điểm và cho phép học sinh có thể đạt được mục tiêu như khi học trực tiếp. Yếu tố thứ hai liên quan tới giáo viên. Nếu chỉ có duy ý chí chủ quan của Ban lãnh đạo mà giáo viên không đồng tình, không hiểu biết và không có kỹ năng liên quan đến chuyển đổi số thì cũng không thể thành công được. Thứ ba là trang bị về mặt kỹ thuật.“Hàng tuần chúng tôi phải kiểm tra các bài giảng tương tác xem có bao nhiêu học sinh tham gia? Chất lượng điểm như thế nào, có đảm bảo mục tiêu học tập không? Có được học sinh chấp nhận không? Mỗi tháng chúng tôi lại có 1 lần khảo sát, đưa ra phản hồi cho các bên liên quan, đặc biệt là giáo viên để điều chỉnh lại cách thức bài học trực tiếp, trực tuyến.” Thứ tư là đánh giá và kiểm soát chất lượng.“Chúng tôi đã đào tạo giáo viên về lớp học đảo ngược, cái gì đưa lên MegaSchool, cái gì tương tác trực tiếp ở lớp học. Mỗi môn lại có đặc trưng khác nhau. Chúng tôi ngồi lại với nhau từng bộ môn để điều chỉnh. Phân tích đặc điểm tâm lý học sinh để hướng dẫn giáo viên xây dựng bài giảng trên MegaSchool…”

Tư duy và chiến lược

Ông Nguyễn Quang Trung, Giám đốc Công nghệ Tập đoàn Giáo dục EQuest, khách mời của hội thảo, nhận định: Những khái niệm về chuyển đổi số được đề cập tới từ khá lâu, tuy nhiên nói đến chuyển đổi số trong giáo dục Việt Nam mới phát triển khoảng 2 năm trở lại đây, khi mà dịch bệnh Covid-19 xảy ra, ảnh hưởng tới các vấn đề liên quan đến dạy và học. Nhiều câu hỏi khi đó đã được nêu ra như: Làm sao giáo viên có thể truyền đạt được kiến thức cho học sinh với chất lượng đầu ra mong muốn và học sinh làm thế nào hiểu các nội dung mà giáo viên truyền đạt một cách đầy đủ nhất, nhà trường làm thế nào để quản lý học sinh tốt hơn… Ông Nguyễn Quang Trung bày tỏ, chúng ta hay nghĩ chuyển đổi số là số hóa bài giảng, nhưng chưa đủ, chuyển đổi số trong giáo dục là chuyển đổi tư duy “Dạy và Học”. Đó là thay đổi cách thức giảng dạy của giáo viên khi truyền đạt một nội dung kiến thức cho học sinh, qua đó giúp học sinh hiểu bài nhanh hơn.

Cũng theo ông Nguyễn Quang Trung, khó khăn liên quan đến việc chuyển đổi số ở khu vực trường công ở Việt Nam còn rất nhiều, bắt nguồn từ nội tại nền kinh tế, các thiết bị cơ sở hạ tầng yếu kém, những khó khăn của học sinh khi tiếp cận các giải pháp công nghệ…Tuy nhiên, Nhà nước cũng đã đưa ra những chính sách chuyển đổi số, trong đó có chuyển đổi số trong giáo dục, và đẩy mạnh ứng dụng công nghệ cho mục tiêu dạy và học một cách tốt nhất. “Chúng tôi sẽ có những dự án số hóa nội dung, đáp ứng chuẩn đầu ra của Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo, Sở Giáo dục và Đào tạo để học sinh có thể chủ động học bất kỳ lúc nào”, ông Nguyễn Quang Trung chia sẻ.

Sự thống nhất của các diễn giả và khách mời

Những chia sẻ từ các chuyên gia và khách mời đều giúp làm sáng rõ tiêu chí để đánh giá năng lực lãnh đạo và tài nguyên của một trường học có yếu tố số hoá. Sự thống nhất và tương quan giữa môi trường giáo dục tại Mỹ và Việt Nam giúp các nhà giáo dục Việt Nam thêm tự tin và chủ động hơn trong việc hoạch định các chính sách và định hướng phù hợp cho nền giáo dục Việt Nam trong thời gian tới.
